NICE TO MEET YOU
I'M CLEVELAND
I didn’t always have this life: the books, the stage plays, the publishing company, the authors all over the world, the cosmic-themed covers, the seminary degree in progress…
For a long time, I was just the guy behind the scenes writing till midnight on an old computer, and quietly wondering if any of this could ever become more than “a little side.” I knew I loved stories. I knew I loved God. I knew I came alive when words, drama, and revelation collided. But there was no grand blueprint, just obedience in small, hidden steps.
Then came a simple decision: help one person. Then another. And another. One stage play turned into dozens. One book turned into a catalogue. One file upload turned into a global publishing flow. Somewhere between performing in impromptu church plays and uploading polished books to Amazon, my “side thing” became a full-time calling a publishing and storytelling life that serves the Church, shapes culture, and pays the bills.
Looking back, I probably should have seen it coming.
I was that youth in church who observed nature and the people around me with deep curiosity, who would rather write a skit or a poem than play outside (well, I did both). I’d listen to a testimony and immediately start thinking, This could be a play. This could be a book. This could be a story people actually remember.
Stories were never just entertainment to me they were vehicles for encounter, healing, and revelation. Long before I knew words like “hybrid publishing” or “mystical theology,” I knew this: God speaks, and people need help hearing Him clearly. Writing and drama just happened to be my way of clearing the static.
CURRENTLY...
I’m probably mapping out a new book, tightening a scene for a new stage play, editing an author’s manuscript, or scribbling fresh thoughts about union with Christ in the margins of a theology book.
Today you’re more likely to find me in Jamaica, toggling between a theology textbook and a messy Word draft, brewing ideas for my own books while guiding other authors through theirs. Some days I’m marking up a manuscript, other days I’m reworking a stage scene, and most days I’m doing both with worship music in the background.
Helping believers especially Christian authors and creatives actually finish the book God put in their hearts.
What Lights Me Up?
Walking with writers who feel called but overwhelmed, and showing them that publishing doesn’t have to be scary, scammy, or confusing
Crafting stories and teachings that demystify the mystical making deep spiritual truth practical, livable, and beautifully human.
Calling the Church back from performance to Presence, from religion as a system to Christianity as union with God.
